We're just getting far enough past Christmas and the New Year that the first of the 2015 releases are starting to raise their heads above the parapets and one of the albums that I'm most eagerly awaiting, toyGuitar's In This Mess, is a little over a week away from it's Fat Wreck Chords release date. Frontman Jack Dalrymple has a history of putting out great music, he's been in One Man Army, Swingin' Utters, Dead To Me and Re-volts whilst toyGuitar already left a calling card with the She's An Alarm ep (my favourite track from that ep featured last February http://justsomepunksongs.blogspot.co.uk/search?q=toyGuitar ).
Complimented by the talents of Miles Peck, Rosie Gonce and Paul Oxborrow, the band play an energetic, garage tinged punk n roll kind of music that more often than not has backing vocals to die for and going by this track, Human Hyenas, we're getting more of the same which is great by me........
